Fang and Soulstice

I finally finished Fang and let me tell you, the book kept me up reading. Something happens to Fang and Max is freaking out, Angel is upset because its mostly her fault, Gazzy and Iggy are trying to comfort Max and Angel. A nice showdown comes to play where there is a fight to try to save Fang... After all that Fang mysteriously disappears, leaving Max devastated and the rest of the flock in shock and confusion. I'm not going to give anything more away... Read it to find out what happens!

The new book i started reading is called Soulstice by Simon Holt. its the second book in The Devouring books. Here is the summary:

Since Reggie first discovered the existence of the Vours in a tattered journal. Since she learned to overcome her fear and destroyed a Vour to save Henry.

Now as the summer solstice approaches, the Vours still haunt Reggie, but only in her dreams - until one night, when an unexpected visitor turns her nightmares into reality.

So far the book is interesting because Reggie and her younger brother Henry are experiencing the terrible powers of the Vours. Vours are evil, demonic  beings that inhabit human bodies on Sorry Night, the darkest hours of the winter solstice. Its a horror, and possibly thriller type book that will keep the story fast paced and have crisp writing. Im at the part where Henry has a "Vour breakdown", as i like to call it, in the middle of school, hurting and almost killing another student. I'd like to see how the book turns out and how Henry will learn to deal with this new thing happening to him... Also how Reggie and her friend Aaron will handle the whole Vour mess.
