Fang by James Patterson

   The book I am currently reading is Fang. It is a Maximum Ride book and is the third one of The Protectors.
     Being a kid with wings -- constantly on the run -- has never been easy, and Max and her flock are getting tenser than ever. First, on a trip to Africa, they meet a mysterious billionaire whose intense scrutiny of the Flock makes her fear the worst. And as if an impending apocalypse weren't bad enough, canny birdkid Angel makes a dire prophecy about Max's soul mate: Fang will be the first to die. Max's desperate desire to protect Fang brings the two closer than ever. But can the team weather the storm, or will the turmoil rip them apart for the last time?     Its one of those "apocalypse" type books.  Max and the other characters are fighting internal and external conflict between their flock and saving the world. Its nice to see how the characters go through this process and come over it. According to Angle, Fang is the first to die and Max isn't going to let that happen. She sets out (not literally) to stop this from occurring. Angle thinks that Dylan, a mysterious guy, is Max's perfect other soul mate and a perfect replacement of Fang for Max. Read the book to decide who is Max's perfect soul mate. So far in the book, Max is trying to get the flock to act and be more human, like normal people. It shows how Max is dealing with her conflict and doing that she begins to lash out on everyone and they get mad. Its interesting to see who they will react when she asks them to forgive her and how Fang will be since she lashed out at him as well.
